Universal Pre-Kindergarten

and Supplemental Programs for UPK

Universal Pre-Kindergarten is exclusively for children residing in New York City who turn four prior to December 31st. This program is offered free of charge. The program offers a rich, supportive learning environment where children can explore, discover, talk freely, build, create and grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Morning or afternoon sessions are available.

Supplemental Programs for UPK
Regardless of where your child attends Universal Pre-Kindergarten, a supplemental program at the Samuel Field Y is available to meet the changing needs of families. Bus transportation is available from select local schools. You don't have to attend our Pre-K program to receive the benefits of a Samuel Field Y education.
