The Single Parent Initiative is hosting a BBQ Pool Party at the Tanenbaum Family Pool, on Thursday, July 27, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
This evening costs $10 per family and includes a kosher barbecue , an evening of swimming, music and games for children.

The Single Parent Initiative of Samuel Field Y and Central Queens Y is excited to let you know we will be offering two new support groups for our single parent families!
Dates: Tuesdays: 2/21, 3/7, 3/21, 4/4, 4/18, 4/25 -
Time: 6:15- 7:30pm
The Single Parents Support Group will be open to single moms and dads who wish to gather together for support, understanding, and a time to share constructive strategies and local resources with other like=minded single parents
This Children’s Support Group will be open to children ages 10-14 and will offer a supportive group where children can learn new skills to express their feelings and explore healthy coping strategies to promote resiliency and acceptance
A $20 suggested contribution per family for the 6 week series includes dinner
