Respite Art Fest 2012

The Samuel Field Y Respite Program is thrilled to present its 2^nd annual creative “Artfest”! Check out some great pieces in
the SFY Main Lobby now through Mid-February! Participants in our adult day care Family Respite Program have been
learning about various artists and their individual artistic techniques.  Piet Mondrian, Georges Seurat’s pointillism, landscapes,
city skylines, silhouettes, and watercolors on canvas have been the focus of our creative art workshops.

We have also been designing all occasion greeting cards as a fundraiser for our Respite program.  Cards can be purchased
from the showcase in the lobby at any time. Many, many thanks to our Respite staff creative team, and especially to our very
talented staff art instructor, Sheila Simon, and to Heather Simon, whose fine arts background and unique creativity was
invaluable in coordinating this event.

We are so proud of our Respite seniors for their enthusiasm, participation and their fabulous art projects!
