HOLIDAY EVENTS FOR FAMILIES
Join us throughout the year to celebrate the festive Jewish holidays.
Sukkot Under the Stars at Bay Terrace Center and our Community Chanukah and Purim Celebrations at our Little Neck site, are sure to delight all ages.

 

BEITH CHINUCH - House of Learning
We have created a Jewish education program for children with developmental disabilities. Both mid-week sessions and Sunday classes will be offered. The program will provide a Jewish Education experience for children starting at the age of five. For information, please call (718) 225-6750. This program is made possible through the generosity of the J.E. and Z.B. Butler Foundation.

HEBREW CLASSES
Hebrew Reading-Intensive Course
Read Hebrew in just 5 weeks! It sounds incredible, but it is true. Join other adults in a series of FREE crash courses in reading Hebrew. Sponsored by the National Jewish Outreach Program. Ulpan
If you are already a Hebrew reader or you graduated from Level II of Hebrew Reading, try our Ulpan. Weekly conversational Modern Hebrew classes are offered beginning in September. For more information contact Jeri Mendelsohn, ext. 266.

THE JEWISH LEARNING CENTER

This series of classes is open to anyone who would like the opportunity to explore their Jewish heritage and culture.
Weekly daytime programs run from September through June and include a variety of topics such as Jewish comedy, music, and biblical literature.
Twice yearly, a week-long series of seminars, taught by the faculty of local universities, affords the older learner an opportunity for an in-depth look at Jewish philosophy and culture.

Fridays, 10-11:15 am

Bagels Coffee and Great Conversation. Bi-monthly meetings begin in September. Check with the Senior Center for specific dates.

Sukkot Under the Stars at Bay Terrace Center
