We want to take care of those we love. In today’s world, where people live longer, many caregivers are looking after older
parents. The Samuel Field Y will be hosting a Your Aging Parent workshop at the Central Queens Y in Forest Hills on
Wednesday, February 27, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Caregiving for an aging parent presents tough and unique challenges. Jane Bardavid, LCSW, is the Director of CAPE, which
is the Geriatric Mental Health clinic of the Samuel Field Y. Ms. Bardavid is a licensed family therapist and looks forward to
sharing with you her expertise and answering your questions. She is skilled at developing strategies to help ease the difficult times.
