Effective January 2015, all social workers that practice in New York State are required to earn 36 units of Continuing Education in order to renew their licenses. The Samuel Field Y and its CAPE Mental Health Clinic has been approved by the New York State Office of the Professions to provide Continuing Education for Social Workers. We are developing a number of courses, many specifically designed with the professional needs of JCC-based social workers in mind as well as additional courses that address the learning needs of social workers in mental health settings and private practice.
Our course offering for SUMMER 2017 will be Understanding Dynamics of Working with Siblings and Families Using Case Studies, which will be offered on Monday, August 21, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
In order to register, please complete the attached registration form, and return your form to the Samuel Field Y. Pre-registration will be required for each course.
