CQY Author Series: Oddly Normal

The author series at the Central Queens Y presents John Schwartz and his newest book Oddly Normal on Sunday, May 19, at 10:00 AM. Oddly Normal is a personal story, written to help other parents of gay kids—and maybe, parents of any kid who is different, who is mistreated by others, or who just may not accept himself—to know that they can find their own way to help their child handle the pain that comes from not fitting in. John Schwartz is a national correspondent for The New York Times.

Registration is Open for Summer Season 2013

Our wildly popular Adult Basketball League will be kicking off its Summer Season on May 28. If you're looking for some great competition or a fun excuse to get exercise, there are still a few team and roster spots available. All teams must be registered by Tuesday May 21.
