It's with great pride that we announce that several of the Samuel Field Y's youth programs, including Summer Camp, Pre School, and Nursery School have been nominated for Best of the Boro! We're so appreciative to have been nominated, but now we need your help to show Queens that we truly have the best programs! You can vote once a day, (Summer Camp was ALSO nominated here) every day through October 21! We thank you in advance!

For over thirty years, Teen Council has been helping high school aged teens develop the skills they need in order to become our leaders of tomorrow. Teens are invited to attend weekly meetings at the Y where they help organize and plan various community service projects and sharpen their leadership skills through engaging in team building and critical thinking activities. In addition to the meetings, Teen Council engages in multiple community service events throughout the course of the year such as babysitting nights for single parents in the community, walking to battle MS, and beautifying our local parks. Meetings will be starting 9/22 at the Samuel Field Y from 6:00-7:30 pm. For more information, contact Andy Gavora at (718) 225-6750 ex. 261.
Calling all High School Juniors and Seniors: The Samuel Field Y's ISY Program offers valuable experience through volunteering, job trainings, and internships in our various After School Programs. On top of developing professional skills, job and life skills are taught at weekly meetings, along with college prep and guest speakers. Assistance with college applications is provided, along with college tours and college nights, and we also provide free tutoring in all major subjects. Our goal is to prepare high school seniors for future careers and college, and we want YOU to be a part of it!
