Currently, autism effects 1 in 50 children. Each day, more than 150 children with autism particpate in a wide variety of Samuel Field Ycommunity based programs (both inclusion and specialized) that address their specific needs and interests. Help raise money for these programs by sponsoring a piece of the puzzle. Volunteers will knit the puzzle pieces, which will then be sewn together to form a beautiful afghan. Completed afghans will be raffled off at the annual dinner to support Autism Programs at the Samuel Field Y in April 2014. For more information or to get involved in this community-wide fundraiser. Please contact Ilene Yair at (718) 225-6750 ext. 236.
